Ya'll are making me so hungry.
I've on intravenous nutrition for about 7 weeks after bowel surgery. I don't know how long I'll be on it.

I graze throughout the day, lots of small "meals" as opposed to three big ones.
So, I'm a lightweight compared to most.

I once ate 17 slices of NY style pizza in one sitting. At my worst, I would routinely eat 2-3 medium Dominos pies at a time. Also could finish off a large box of Captain Crunch in a sitting. Another weakness for me is roast pork fried rice. I can pound down a family-sized order without blinking an eye.
Which is the reason I am a fat bastard.

LOL....You sound like me.
It's a tie between Chocolate Fudge Tracks Ice Cream and Cajun or Seafood Gumbo, for what I could eat the most of. Quote:

I love all types of food, but at some point I hit an age where I realized if I ate too much of anything all at once, I was going to feel like trash for the next several days.
Try to pace myself now. I can still get into trouble with takeout Chinese. That's a definite weakness for me, where my eyes are way bigger than my stomach, and I end up paying the price for it. Can't help just loading my plate up, while the rest of the family just looks at me...and basically dares me to eat everything on my plate. ![]() I can pound down a lot of sushi, if it's actually any good, and is very fresh. There's a very fine line between very good sushi and very bad sushi...and sometimes you can get both at the same place, depending on which day you go, who's working the kitchen, how fresh their most recent batch of fish is, and other various factors. Most of the "all you can eat" places I've been to, don't make me want to actually eat very much there. The smaller sushi places that tend to be the best to me, and I've had grocery store sushi that's way better then the stuff you might get in a fancy sit-down restaurant. |

Ice cream or seafood gumbo. I can almost make myself sick eating either one. A few months ago I had to stop buying ice cream. I can't control myself!

Easy for me. I always tell my wife if I could only eat one thing the rest of my life, it would be the Atlantic Blue Crab........Steamed or boiled with Old Bay Seasoning........Wel it New Years Eve. Time for our tradition of seafood dinner.
And my three dogs.......Oatmeal. I have oatmeal for breakfast 5-6 times a week and they go absolutely nuts for it. Whining and barking every morning. Sometimes I make them their own batch. Last edited by philliesfan; 12-31-2023 at 08:31 AM. |

^^Never heard of that for dogs. Maybe i try that for my dog to see he likes it.
I cut down the last few yrs...a lot!!! As some may know...i been to the Dr's frequently the past 2+ yrs. They also put me on Mounjaro...mainly for blood sugar, but also lose weight. As for side affects...the sulphur burps, nasuea, bloating and gas. I cant over-eat or stuff myself....smaller meals and if i get cravings my go -to is a handful of walnuts during a game.

That's my relationship with Doritos. I'll eat a whole bag without even realizing it. Then I'll wake up several times in the middle of the night choking back acid reflux. Just gotta walk by it when I see it on the grocery shelves.

I would rather the acid reflux than what a whole bag will do to me..........

I just hate it when I see on the tub of ice cream and it reads 8-9 servings when they know full well that there is only one serving in there!
