I believe Boog appears on a normal size and smaller version.
Charlie,

Here's the Boog Powell. Mine is the same size as the Robinsons and Palmer. I've never seen a smaller version.

There is a thread on this site that mentions these pins fairly regularly. Maybe someone on there can verify the smaller Powell

Default Orioles early 1950s pins, ring, cuff links, etc.

Day 19 – 19 January 2024
Today, I have an assortment of early 1954 pins, ring, charms, tie clasps, tie bar and cuff links featuring the Hartzell Bird. I believe these are 1954 or a year or two later. You also see a necktie from the first season (1954). This tie comes in 3 or 4 different colors. Also shown is the 1958 AS pin and button, which are both very rare. The detail with the 1958 AS pin is amazing.

Default Orioles Pins and Buttons

Day 20 – 20 January 2024
Today, I provide an assortment of older pins and buttons. You’ll notice some from the World Series, early 1950s, Bomb em Birds large and small, a concessioner (774) pin, and others. I really like the top three Orioles Hartzell Bird, Spirit of 66 and Year of the Bird examples. The 1966 Charge / WS larger button is nice. Towards the bottom, the World Champs/Black and Decker Angry Bird is pretty cool and rare.

Charlie,

Nice looking group of pins. I also see a 1960 Fox Cites pin in the mix. Do you collect minor league pins too?

I don't actively collect pins, but pick them up when I see ones I think are cool. Translation: I somehow find I have plenty of pins in my collection accumulated over the years.

Here's a couple of my favorite Frank Robinson pins from Blue Ribbon Bread.

Default Minor League Pins

Hi, Alan. I am not an expert on all the minor league teams / affiliates but have a few. Would love to find more. Will show another one next post. I love the pins. I have one of the two Frank’s. Thanks for showing.

Default Brooks Robinson minor league pin

Day 21 – 21 January 2024
It is always fun finding things from Brooks’ minor league days. Below is an example of his time in York, PA with the White Roses. I believe this pin is from his 1955 season. The other pin is from 1960 Fox Cities Foxes, which was Boog’s 2nd year in professional baseball.
