I have a completely different Ritchey variation. The Ritchey on the right has a yellow belt. Also note no birdy in the sky when Claude is putting his yellow fashion forward.

I actually found a nearly ten year old thread that, after one of my stupid posts, had a different theory for the reason for the yellow belt that was put forward by Erick (T206Hound) and Pat. (my Ritchey is shown on post #26, and the responses, as is appropriate, followed after).
