Every breakout and resubmit is always a huge crapshoot, and the cynic in me knows nothing will go your way, so you'll never be guaranteed an 8 or even a 7. One thing is certain. The moment you break the card out, it is no longer the grade it was, so if it comes back lower, you've only shot yourself in the foot. Presently, it is a high grade card that is barely O/C, so it is an undeniably decent asset for a Fisk fan.

Are you in a rush for something to happen? If not, perhaps time is your friend, as it will allow you to see if an SGC 8 becomes available. Also, since PSA cards are generally considered to be more valuable, perhaps you can use your card in a trade to grab the SGC 8 you want?

On the other side of the coin, I have found SGC to be pretty reliable vintage graders, so if you examine the card closely and think it deserves the grade you're targeting, perhaps sending it in might be the right move for you personally.

Good luck in your quest!!

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
