Call them 'The Utes' for the indigenous peoples, but have their emblem appear to be Joe Pesci from 'My Cousin Vinny' holding a hockey stick. Inside jokes should always be hidden inside of logos.

Follow up. After examining the results of several focus groups, numerous linguists and grammarians from 14 different countries, and one man-crazy beautician, the consensus opinion is a slight change of team name from "Utah Drinkofwaters" to "Utah Drinksofwater".
