Thanks lol, We had a lot of cool stuff in this auction was hoping some of it (the Bender was ours also) would pop up here. We can surely use the publicity. Glad we could help out your collection!

Default Comment to mrrealit68 about shoeless joe

Totally respect that you are seeking his autograph. I visited the Shoeless Joe Museum in Greenville, SC last year. One of the exhibits is a scanned copy of his will, which has his signature...the best he was able to sign his name....behind glass. The curator on the tour was asked if it was the original will. He chuckled and said if it were the original they would have to hire an armed guard 24 hours a day, that it's worth exceeds $1 million. I think he said the original is in a vault somewhere in Atlanta.
Obtaining his autograph will be very tough and very, very expensive.

I had been after one of these single-signed balls for a while. Finally got lucky.

These three arrived in the past week. I overpaid for the cabinet but could care less; as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it. The cabinet looks so much better in hand than that scan shows.

My first ever pickup from The Collector Connection. I can’t decide if this is more trade bait for the National or if I’m starting a back run as a side project. Many thanks Scott for the really fast turnaround!
