I got my Epson v37(not 370) for $50 used. If you're on a budget and $50-$75 is more appealing than $200+. The quality is 99.9% as good. And it's 3 years newer than the v600. The only difference between the two is the v600 can scan at a higher Dpi with slightly better color. You won't be anywhere near the higher Dpi settings so it doesn't matter (they're for film negatives). Just comes down to do you want marginally better color accuracy or to spend $150 less? Oh yea, the v600 opens like a clam shell and the v37 has a hinged book type lid. So If space matters the v600 does win in that category.
Both great choices none the less! Definitely check Facebook marketplace for scanners, you could find a fantastic deal.
