I bought the Laughlin cards for the same reason. I think they're as real as it gets unless I want to burn thousands per card for Cuban or Venezuelan prewar cards, but if the prices hold up I will be selling too.

4K for an 8 just now. For a card produced 25 years after the player died, not to mention a cartoonish image bearing no resemblance, yikes.

I chickened out and sent the whole lot to SGC. If they come back decently graded and the prices are good I will sell them.
