Rob

VERY nice basketball program. Was there space for only one game to be scored or multiple games?

Jonathan,
There were multiple score sheets but only 3 or 4 filled out. One of the games included New Britain of which some claimed as world champs that year. Also one player by the name of Loomis was considered by some as inventing the dribble.

I am VERY happy to add this wonderfully scored program from the last regular season game Sandy Koufax ever pitched to my collection.

October 2, 1966
Doubleheader game #2
Season win #27, career win #165
Season complete game #27, career complete game #137

Game #268 in my Koufax scored program collection, and still looking...

Not new, but I love this thread, and wish it was a popular as the pennant thread...

Waite Hoyt complete game win allows only 14 hits

Nice one Mike. It was your post of this program in the other thread that caused me to make my latest post.

Also, I find it interesting that the man who kept detailed score and notes about the individual homers didn't mention the calling of any shots...

I'd started this thread but have neglected to post much recently due to too much work and traveling. I feel bad about that, but I hope to post more in the coming weeks. I'm glad folks like this thread and I'm always amazed at some of the pieces people share here from their collection! I always enjoy seeing and reading about your finds, Doug!
