I have to admit this hits close to home, because I have fully embraced that "a hole" collecting lifestyle.

Absolutely. And if I ever go to sell it seems the card isn't in as much demand as it was when I bought it. That said I don't speculate too much, except on type cards....such as

It's kind of hard to price a card like this (shown many times). It's pretty much whatever is good for both parties, I guess. It's not a big value card but not a few hundred either. I was happy to acquire it from another board member at a show.
