Mr Spaeth with all due respect you know damn well that IS the difference between most low grade examples and ALL high grade vintage cards.

Yes it is bullshit but very few will not collect PSA slabs because of it. Seriously once you can really not care about value and just buy ungraded cards the hobby actually becomes really fun again.

That 7 does appear to be trimmed. But there is some variability in the dimensions of unaltered E90-1s. Home Run Baker is an example. Look at the VCP records and you'll see many examples.

+1...the 1.5 Cobb looks about right.

Not all can look like this one! There are some variances in the borders but, pointy corners with little borders is a recipe for a disaster.

My side borders are maybe just slightly larger, but also have no evident tampering. My Cy did get into a knife fight and got it straight in the neckhole.

Leon's incredible E90-1 Cy is a freak of candy card nature.
