Man, he pitched for my Rangers for years. Loved watching him throw. Not overly fast speed on his pitches, but I'm glad I didn't have to catch that. You know it's a good knuckler when you can see the seams when the pitch is in the air.

1976 O-Pee-Chee Ron Guidry #599 PSA 7

Another guy who wasn't a Hall of Famer, but has an argument. Guidry was 170-91 with a 3.29 ERA and was worth 47.8 WAR in his career. The OPC has only been graded 43 times by PSA (the Topps has been graded 1,651).

These I actually refused to collect as a kid because only Toronto Maple Leaf and Montréal Canadien players were available. Now though I consider these pictures to be very cool nonetheless.
