Well I hate both teams involved. So, now I will cheer for the Mets so at least one team, the Braves will go home.

But yay for the Mets making the playoffs! Unfortunately I can't see any way they can now eliminate both the Atlanta Braves (who belong in Milwaukee) and the Arizona (should be Phoenix) Diamondbacks from the playoffs.

I sort of want my Mets to lose this second game, so they can just go up to Milwaukee and avoid the cross country flight and tiresome aftermath.

They said on the Mets broadcast that it was an injury, but I have a feeling he'll be cured for the next series if they make it.

Mets broadcasters were saying they don't think Sale is healthy. Apparently his velocity was down in his most recent start. Given his predilection for injuries, it wouldn't be surprising.

What game that first one was though. Lindor played his heart out.

Whatever happens with the Brewers, who have owned the Mets in recent memory, its a big achievement to come back and make the playoffs after being 22-33 on May 29th.

Mets have been the best team in baseball since the start of June, and have been very fun to watch. I hope it continues.
