Yes, you hope that all the big guys of government entities, corporations, and non-profits do everything as efficiently and effectively as possible, but it's the neighbors and regular folks who do a lot of the heavy lifting, and do so selflessly.

Now that I am an official Floridian as of last month I have lived thru 2 storms already and fortunate to have minimal effects.

The resiliency of this country is like no other.

I prey for the victims and thier families as mother nature has no enemy and the randomness of its paths truly makes you feel helpless at times

Got lucky, minimal damage for me. Fence blown down, a little water coming in the living room and some siding torn off. Worst part was no power, they literally just turned it back on for our subdivision.
