I'll post one more 1997 card, then move on to the monster year 1998 tomorrow.
This is the 1997 SPx Gold parallel. There is a version called the Grand Finale that is limited to only 50 unnumbered copies. They look exactly like the golds, except the hologram is also gold rather than silver. They are easily overlooked and sometimes pop up for sale as golds where the owner doesn't know what they have. I would love to have a Larkin Grand Finale, but until I find one, I'll have to settle for the gold.
