Well, I was recently lucky enough to acquire the only example of a 1961 Post cereal box with Clemente on it!!!!! So Psyched! Bonus that it is so clean and vibrant!

Wow, just wow! Those Jell-O and Post Cereal complete boxes are beyond cool! I'm a huge fan of the 1962 Post Cereal sets, both U.S. and Canadian, myself.



A couple of my buddies had an ongoing argument about whether Roberto Clemente or Hank Aaron was the greater player. Tony who argued on Clemente's behalf was of course a Pittsburgh Pirate fan while Dave who argued on Aaron's behalf was a Milwaukee Braves fan.

Hello! This thread is the best ever and I have been coming back ever since it started to see all of the amazing and rare Roberto items. I have a question I am hoping you can help with.

On the back of the 1972 Fan Club cards there was an offer to send 25 cents for an 8x10 of Roberto, do you know what photo they would send?

It had been a while, but I finally got around to updating the thread's catalog again.

Now for something new to add:

I don't think these are particularly scarce, but also not something you run into every day...or at least not as easily as some of the other Topps subsets? Thoughts from those with a more practiced hand...and any historians who can school us on the background of how they were issued?

Great pickup Michael! Hope all is well. I’ve always wanted one of those and yours looks to be in great shape. As you stated, I don’t think they’re extremely difficult to find, but also not something you could just go online and purchase any day of the week.
