Default Ty Cobb with tape on one side

Had this card for over 40 years, would love to have the tape remove on left side. Dosnt affect the. Cobb image. until some miracle worker comes up with tape removal, it stays as is.

If there is no yellow discoloration of the tape which has seeped into the cardboard, it can indeed be removed without compromising the card. Due to the lighting in your photo, I find it impossible to tell where yours stands for certain, but it looks like a prime candidate for removal.

I see no issue in tape removal. Not sure why anyone would. The tape itself is the alteration, as it wasn't there to begin with!

I have about 3/4 set (missing about 60 or so) of 49 Bowman baseball that are all taped. This tape would not come off no matter what I tried. Finally, I decided to send Campy in with the tape attached. SGC graded it and I sold it.

I still have about 180 or so with the tape still on them. They're about the same condition as the Campy pictured. Unfortunate with the tape, but what the heck.
