For me it would depend on the items. I finally had stuff I was ok with making deals for, and just brought it. I needed a bag to carry purchases in anyway.
Made deals on all the cards, but none on the binder of entertainment autographs. not that I tried all that hard on the binder. If it was bulky stuff like stadium seats or bats I'd probably do it differently. Even in a decent area I'm not sure I'd be ok with leaving anything with any real value in the car. Maybe in the trunk?
