Default Need some help getting info about this Dodgers set

I recently received this set from a co worker of mine who thinks he got it at the 1956 World Series when he was about 9. I know Jay Publishing did three sets that year but there's only 13 cards and he says there's no chance he would've lost any of them. Here's a picture:

Any help is appreciated.

According to TCDB you have one of two things: the base 1956 Jay Publishing Dodgers set of 12 photos plus a loose Sal Maglie from the 1956 Jay Publishing Dodgers World Series set OR you have 13 of the 1956 Jay Publishing Dodgers World Series set of 25 photos and are missing the other 12. ETA I would go with the former because the 12 photos other than the Maglie are the same as the photos in the 12 photo base set.

I agree with Cliff. Probably the 55-57 Dodgers picture pack. It contained 12 cards (picture attached).

I have a couple sets of the 56 World Series picture packs. They contain 25 cards each, and have the coveted Sandy Koufax (some note as his rookie year). The 12 cards in the picture pack are the exact cards as are in the World Series set - the difference is the 13 additional cards inserted. The actual complete set of the World Series picture packs is 50 cards - 25 for the Dodgers and 25 for the Yankees. I've also attached a picture of the envelope the World Series issue came in. Hope it helps.
