Thanks Chris...I copied, and pasted the Conlon photo and Tattoo Orbit, and gave the Tattoo Orbit a little tilt, just to emphasize that the Tattoo Orbit does indeed appear to have used the Conlon photo (as does the W517) for its creation.

A related inquiry. Did other Tattoo Orbit cards utilize Conlon photos? Just in case anyone has some ideas.

Good call on the Tattoo Orbits Hornsby/Conlon connection. The Babe Herman is from a Conlon photo too.
