So has buyer received the tracking number or not? If it was provided once, why could it not be provided again?

If a seller refuses to supply a tracking it’s because it doesn’t exist.

Just quit it. Do you think I made up that sequence of USPS offices above, where it has been delivered? I am sure the buyer has it by now and I do too.

No I don’t believe you made anything up.

I didn’t see a delivery scan in that mess. 2nd, just because you posted that doesn’t mean it was the correct tracking information. Without the number and all origin and destination that was worthless. Furthermore, tracking information can be modified after the fact. Just because you see something now doesn’t mean it looked like that a couple weeks ago.

I actually had a package end up missing in Aurora several years ago. I don't remember the other stops on the tour. The key to getting mine going in the right direction was communication between postmasters. My local guy and the postmaster in Aurora. James, if it is a USPS issue, you may find that your local postmaster may be the one you should be dealing with rather than the yahoos on this forum.

And for clarity, Leon you are not a yahoo.

That is because it hasn't been delivered yet.

I saw a picture of the package, the addresses on it, the USPS stamp and the tracking number. That is how I tracked it.

I don't think longtime members are going to do all of what you said over $15. What do you think?

This isn't a bizarre situation except for the craziness of the USPS. Otherwise, some minor miscommunications is all.

I think anyone that withholds a tracking number over a $15 package has issues. Didn’t see an origin scan in there either. Should we assume it hasn’t been shipped?

Did the buyer get that courtesy?

This has nothing to do with $15. It's just bizarre a seller would withhold that info from a buyer. I've yet to hear a straight answer to the question if the actual tracking number was provided to the buyer. And that causes red flags to go up. If it was provided, just say so and I have no issues.

Ditto.
OP is all over the place. Starts with saying he’s out both the money and the cards, which he repeats more than once. Now he several times says its not about the money “who cares about the money?”, and calls people morons for thinking it has to do with money.

Says in post #19 “I do not believe he ever mailed it”, then later in #34 says “He seemed to think I was accusing him of never having mailed it, which is not the case”. Says in post #22 “How would you like getting ripped off?”.

Excuse me for thinking that the tracking number is a red herring here. If Seller had said he didn’t get a tracking number on this package or that he got one but somehow can’t find it but assuring buyer that the cards were packaged and sent, OP would still be bitching and moaning that he got ripped off on his great deal, even while acknowledging that seller is a longtime member here and that there are two sides to every story. Handled piss poorly IMO.

The tracking history is set forth at length above. So obviously James now has it.

Having tracking history and having a tracking number are not the same thing.

Right, and if buyer doesn't have the number then they can't check the status on their own. This whole situation just seems bizarre to me.

Ah I see what you and Tim are saying, but Octavio obviously owned this, I am certain if James wants the number he will give it to him if he already has not.

I had assumed (perhaps erroneously) that Leon had gotten the tracking history from the seller.
