Hey Richie, you may want to post your want list on this thread. There may be some of the autographs out there you are looking for in the hands of members. I have quite an accumulation of autographs and routinely find a scarce autograph hidden within a scorecard, multi signed ball etc. Especially if they are in a support role but once upon a time was in higher profile position such as a player, manager, etc.

Nothing to lose. I'll check my collection for you. Jim

Default 'Gone Fishin's idea about posting my Want List

It was a good thought to post my 'Want List' of MLB Managers autographs, but it's about 40 names, maybe too long to post here.
I have, over time, sent a PM to a number of forum members to get their email address and sent the list that way. I have been able to acquire some of the autographs on my list by doing that.

My email address is: richieharris.email@gmail.com

If anyone has Managers autographs on flat items (no balls, caps, bats) from the period 1890 to the late 1920s that may be up for sale, I'd like to send my 'Want List' to your email.

I do realize that due to scarcity, some of the names are either unavailable or unaffordable.

Thanks!

A couple from Eddie Gaedel home plate umpire Eddie Hurley. The card is no longer with me, but ranked as one of the greatest umpire-signed items I've had the pleasure to own. It resided in Jack Smalling's personal collection for over 50 years before it came to me. I still have the 3X5, and am only its second owner.

Billy, the Bowman and 3x5 are excellent. I have his autograph on a multi-player umpire signed baseball.
