Also, as to series - I have been able to determine that the embossed inserts were included in series 1, series 3 contained no inserts, and the transfers were in series 6. As to whether and what inserts may have been included in series 2, 4,5 or 7 I still have no information.[/QUOTE]
Perhaps the transfers that were released in series 6 are the "scarce" ones. There are a number of miscuts available, so perhaps someone could determine the strip print pattern for these. |

Update - I have an image of a series 5 cello with no insert. I know quality control wasn't then what it later became (the various amounts of cards possible in 1966 cellos proves that), but it seems likely series 5 was issued without inserts.
Recall, there were 4 wrapper variations - one with embossed, one with transfers and two with no inserts advertised. I suspect that means that at least 2 series had none. |

I read on TCDB that these were issued in strips of 3 in wax packs. Is that correct? Or were individual transfers in a pack?
