I've gotten cardboard signs found under porches, behind framed pictures, and in walls for insulation. I add a sign today found "behind a door". Sounds weird saying behind a door but it was seriously nailed behind metal that closed off a door. I guess I'm a collector of signs found in weird places . It's not mint but hey it survived and I think I can clean it up a bit more.

Been selling more than buying recently, but had a couple of new pickups recently that I am really excited about.

This 1938 contract between the Negro National League/NY Cubans for use of Yankee Stadium for a few Negro League games as a fundraiser.

The contract features Ed Barrow's signature, along with 2 signatures from Negro League Executive Gus Greenlee, which was what drove my interest in particular.

I've been looking for a Greenlee signature for years and had never seen one in the wild until I came across this document.

I picked these up. I was wondering about the cloth Indoor baseball. It's supposedly from 1914. Any information about it would certainly be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!

Indoor baseball was absolutely a thing in the early 1900s...winter months, places where a field might be difficult to access

Origins of indoor baseball

ad featuring "indoor baseballs"

Hal Chase and Christy Mathewson take part
