In general, food issues are printed in large quantities and are are of relatively low value. There are a few exceptions (like Larkin's 1987 Kahn's), but most are not as desirable as the mainstream cards. But for a player collector like myself, eventually you start running out of mainstream cards to collect, so snatching up food issue and other "oddball" cards becomes necessary.

Early 90's Pepsi Red Sox carton.
One card per carton glued inside with some rubbery stuff that came off easily. I kept one empty and one with the card still inside. |
