1881 Dubuque Rabbits Comiskey Photo 50K
Good question--First time I decided to take an offer my original 144 year old Dubuque photo to a National, 50K is a lot of money for most collectors--my daughter doesn't want it, or any of my other collectable, already sold my Cobbs, Ruth and Gehrig's, Cap Anson cards, was sad to let them go but we all have to face the future of reality versus being sold at garage sale. ( still have a couple thousand autos and vintage cards need to figure the best way to let them go )--I guarantee this photo is authentic and hopefully can be under another collectors watch for the next 35 years!

Dubuque Rabbits team photo authenticity Questioned .
Tom The previous autograph you sold is just sludge under the bridge. Especially since you have taken your shady escapades to new heights. If you really wanted to get proof that that is not Comiskey you could simply submit your photo along with some known Comiskey photos to a company that could uses the technology referanced in my link above to give you a definitive answer. It is after all a ( cough..spit) 50K TEAM PHOTO. surely it's worth the expense to get it certified. No?
Or is it as I stated above just an exercise in finding the one person with the means that falls for your Guar..en..tee..that it is good. Then they can spend their own hard earned money finding out what it is and who you are...

1881 Dabuque Cabinet photo Highly Questionable.
Look I know changing someone's mind that is trying to pry someone's hard earned money selling a photo he has been repeatedly told for at least 12 years is NOT WHAT HE SAYS IT IS, Seems like a waste of time. But hear me out. Every time someone stands up and pushes back on this type of nonsense it creates a digital trail. A trail that hopefully will show up and open the eyes, and close the wallet of someone thinking this might be real.
I saw that parts of this 1879 Dabuque team premium were shown 12 years ago look at it for yourselves. The 1879 Dabuque team certainly looks the part of a Small city's semi pro ball club. The 1881 photo is not remotely similar. And is almost certainly not a Traveling semi pro ball club representing a city the size of Dabuque.

You finally got something right, my photo is 1881 NOT 1879, Radbourne and Gleason were gone, Comiskey was trying to organize a new baseball team in 81, thanks for clearing this up, I've been trying to explain this to the forum, my photo is dated 1881-Thank you. Comiskey, Quinn, Tom Loftus, and Ted Sullivan were still in Dubuque playing baseball. Thanks again!
