I have 2 I think would've made great cards.
First is one of the original baseball giants 6'8 Mike Naymick. Mike played in the dark days of cards, 1939 through 1944. To my knowledge no issue of him exists. The photo speaks for itself, would make a hilarious fun card. Second is a great photo of a young Al Kaline alongside Mel Ott. Mel passed away not long after this was taken. Weird combo but cool to me. It would've made a great card. ![]()
