Skubal is really good. We're enjoying him here before he moves on to the Dodgers, Yankees, or Mets after 2026. But as good as he is, he rarely goes past 6 innings. He never goes past 100 pitches. I don't get how that's worth 50 million a year for 12 years - or whatever he ends up getting, but that's baseball these days. At least Verlander would give you 8 solid every time.

Per Sarah Langs Skubal has 89 strikeouts and 3 walks in his last 10 starts Skubal is the first pitcher to record 80+ strikeouts and 3 BB or fewer in a 10-start span in a single season in the modern era (since 1900)

Hard to believe Kershaw didn't have a stretch like that in 2016 the year he struck out 172 and walked 11.
EDIT: He missed by a single walk. Depending on which games you choose he had 10 game spans of 4 and 95, 4 and 102, 4 and 103, or 4 and 101.

I believe Glavine had a 74-pitch CG, but, obviously with few K's. PLEASE don't get mad at me asking this: Just curious, wonder what ethnicity is he. Wikipedia gave no indication. Just an unusual name for this old man (I don't get out much).
