Pokemon is taking over the collecting world for good or bad
It's what kids relate to now I have set up at sports card shows and as a test I show a Babe Ruth card to a young kid and asked them to identify him. NO CLUE. But CHARIZARD? Of course! Although I am not a follower I will say Pikachu will never go on the DL or get caught in scandal

I went to what was a "Pokemon" show yesterday
One of the few sports card vendors did my last Synagogue show, saw me in the admission line, and gave me a pass to get in. Very appreciated indeed otherwise it would have been
$5 admission and an hour of my life I won't be getting back (including driving to and from the show) This is where I wish I could wax like Jolly does but it was quite a sight to see at the show. The ONLY positive to the day was more women collecting and vending than at a sports show. Regards Rich

When you look at grading numbers, there are more TCG cards being graded on a daily/weekly/monthly basis than.......all sportscards put together. And it's not close.
Will it last, who knows?
