I love that all the pennants were sold on sticks. Makes it easy to wave in the stadium but we hardly ever see them that way as vintage items.

Our local AA team, the Flying Squirrels is doing a throwback night to commemorate the old team in Richmond which was known as the Virginians. Here’s a video they made and early in the video you can see a vintage Virginians pennant.

Yeah, two guys, but hard to know how many would have been in the $1,000-$2,000 plus range if those two did not get there first.

I know it is a rare Raiders pennant, but it is such a common design for a football pennant. Price seems crazy.

Agree. Very likely that a few "would be" bids did not even register. Crazy price, but if you're an advanced Raider collector it may represent the only void in your collection.

Yes, but...how many times have we seen "crazy" prices become the new normal for something? Maybe this will draw out another one and we can get a better idea.

Default seems pretty steep

I've been looking for one of these, but the price seems very high. Is this really the going rate for one of these?
