Have been looking for the right example of this card for a long time and thrilled to have landed this big bordered boy! Leaves me with one more back to complete my Master Gandil run.

I had to ask on here a few years back for the identification of the two cut-outs I have in my collection, and of course Net54 pulled through. Brian's Daubert is much nicer than my two cards, that's for sure.

Thank you. I've had an individual one before, but never the set in whatever the composite would be of it.

Default First pickup of the year: S74-2 Gabby Street

Finally won something in the recent Sterling Auctions, a nice Gabby Street S74 silk.

Default Lummis Peanut Butter

Picked this up a couple weeks ago, simply because it was an issue that eluded me for so long. Definitely put a smile on my face as I opened it up.

Congrats Jonathan - very nice pickup! The 1949 Sealtest sticker cards featuring the same 12 players are tough, but the Lummis Peanut Butter cards are very scarce.

Thanks Val Having attended the Philly Show since 1975 I heard about Lummis cards for at least 20 years before I saw one. Of the less than 50 known examples this one is one of 5 or so that grades vg. And yes I turned over hundreds of sealtest looking for a Lummis. Bought back alot of great memories when I got this in my hands.
