I can also see why pointing that out that might offend fans of a team whose two biggest icons are celebrated more for their theatrical taunts than they are for the rings on their fingers. Last edited by bk400; 06-23-2025 at 07:31 PM. |

These are actual human beings, dipshit, not just characters on TV. Tyrese is a great citizen of Indianapolis and Indiana. Maybe you just have no idea what that looks like.

No one is celebrating his injury. We just point out that it is a lesson in karma. |

Trash talking is a long-established part of the NBA. Maybe Tyrese is a little over the top, but whatever, it's entertainment in essence. The beloved Larry Bird could trash talk with the best of them. This young man's injury was highly unfortunate and could not have come at a worse time for his team, for both teams really since I am sure OKC would have preferred a game with Indiana at full strength. That's really all there is to say about it, hopefully he fully recovers, and same with Jayson Tatum from my part of the country.
PS there's no karma involved here. That's an absurd gloss IMO. Just a miserable injury.

But obviously enough elements of a karmic narrative are there that the mere mention of it can elicit a full tilt on this thread. |
