Once again, another Cobb rookie underperformed in HA auction that just ended last night. The only thing I placed a bid on that didn’t go strong (didn’t end up getting it anyway). This follows the very recent rarely seen Wolverine Cobb batting that also ended quite a bit lower than expected. Cobb rookies continue to be some of the only reasonable buys in the pre-war realm amongst “big boy” cards.

Agreed, Jeff. I was hoping to come away with the NC Cobb/Wagner but that one got way out of reach for me (as usual). I backed off the Taylor Cobb at the last minute because of the heavy crease and my opinion that a 2 was over grading it.

I think the NC Cobb went for a cheaper price relatively for sure. Virtually flat from last October. And yes on the Taylor Cobb, I agree with all that.
