The colorization AI algorithms are mathematical. Sometimes the math works, sometimes it doesn't. The freeware colorizers allow no user adjustments. This is the problem with all those colorized baseball films as well.

It's great that the first pic was colorized, now we know that in the old days direct sunlight turned many colored surfaces into light blue!
