Default Trivia: Most Home Runs in one Ballpark

10 players have hit 250 or more Home Runs in a single stadium.

Can you name them?

Bonds, Pujols, Ruth

Edit: Bonds may be wrong due to their park change...

Sammy Sosa and Ernie Banks. Edit, Someone answered Banks before me so I'll go Sosa and Mickey Mantle.

Babe Ruth is the only one on the list coming at #7 with 259 at Yankee Stadium.

Pujols split teams and Bonds had the stadium change.

Yes, almost, and yes! Mel Ott is # on the list with a whopping 323 at the polo Grounds.

Ernie Banks is #3 on the list with 290 at Wrigley Field.

Ted Williams just missed the list, with 248 Home Runs at Fenway.

Sammy Sosa is comes at #2 with 293 at Wrigley.

Mickey Mantle comes in at #4 with 266.

So you've already gotten 1,2,3,4 and 7.

How many HRs did Pujols have in Busch Stadium? I was thinking he played there long enough to do it, but I guess not.

Nice! Mike Schmidt is #5 on the list with 265 at Veteran's Field.
Lou Gehrig is 10th on the list with 251 at Yankee Stadium.

Killebrew just missed with 246 at Metropolitan Stadium.

According to this article, which was written after Pujols' 701st HR out of 703: 215 of Pujols’ HRs came in St. Louis, with 121 coming at Busch Stadium III and 94 coming at Busch Stadium II. He hit 332 home runs in his home ballpark and 369 on the road.

Great guess, but Mays hit 203 at Candlestick.

We are just missing 3 players. 2 played in the same ballpark, and the third played 4.5 hours away.

Based on the hint, it has to be someone who played at Sportsman Park or Comiskey. I'm out of guesses.

The stadium opened in 1923 (I think) so he had several years with the Yankees in a different home stadium.
