That was one of the worst losses I've seen this year. I feel bad for Yamamoto.

Not a tough one if you an Oriole's fan.

Or a Phillies fan who now are up 5 games on the Dodgers for second best record in the NL and the first round playoff bye that goes with it.

Who would've thought that at this point in his career (and the Dodgers expectations in general) The Clayton Kershaw would still be their stopper? Yamamoto is obviously the better pitcher at this point but somehow when the Dodgers are at their worst Kershaw comes in and gets a win.

So Ohtani throws a no hitter over 5 innings, leaves with a 4-run lead. And then the Dodgers bullpen comes in in the 6th and immediately sh*ts the bed. Score is now 6-4 Phillies. How cool would it be if Ohtani comes back with a walk off to win the game?

The dodgers have blown games with significant no-hit bids and the lead 3 or 4 times in the last 3 weeks. The bullpen is hot garbage.

This was only a 5 inning no hitter so not quite like the others. Also, Yamamoto gave up the first hit in his game with 2 outs in the 9th, but it was the bullpen that couldn't get the third out and lost the game.

5 innings while not a near no hitter, is still a significant no-hit bid to me. I didn't say the bullpen blew the no-hitters but they sure as hell blew the games.
