Wow - Really impressive

Will you be posting the overflow portion of your set for sale at some point?

Would be interested in seeing any "graded" overflows.

What a GREAT hobby this is and that goes for the forum as well.

Recently bought 20 T206’s from a large collection scored by my LCS, boosting my score to 55.

Now up to 63 with a purchase of eight cards at the West Coast Card Show yesterday.

I did see a graded (3.5, IIRC) Eddie Plank T206 at the convention, even amongst a plethora of amazing cards that the Hall Vault had on display, it still was a sight to see.

521 graded (probably will be my permanent number) and 376 raw. Quite a journey. Thank you to all who helped.

Getting back into the hobby after a several year hiatus.... funny coincidence to see this old thread revived now, and appreciative that the organizers maintained my old number. Update is that I'm up to 489, appreciate the assistance of several board members with recent purchases.
Best,

In 2019, I bought a near SGC graded set of 503 with the average grade 3.

My closest reach to a 520 set. Paid $35K. Of course, missing 3 Cobbs, 3 Mathewsons, 3 Youngs, 2 Johnsons, O'Hara and Demmitt ST. Louis, and a couple other toughies. Still, at the time a good purchase.

Broke and sold it within a couple of months for $50K.

Current number, 0, but always looking for another set/near set.

Missed out on a good deal in an REA auction last year of 518 all SGC/PSA graded at $100K missing only O'Hara and Demmitt St. Louis for the 520.

More recently, a 520 set was on their marketplace at $200K but out of my price range. I guess it sold as it is no longer on the site.

No patience to put a set together card for card. A friend of mine has put (7) 520 sets together over the last 55 years but has sold them all. Working on #8 now.

Default First off, thanks to Eric for taking on this Monster of a list

More of a headache than I would wish upon anyone.

Secondly, back in the ol' days, when I was trying to get every card Howe had collected, I listed the duplicates as a second set, the triplicates as a third, and the quadruplicates as set four. So sometime, you can eliminate numbers 310, 389, and 399 for me, as I now have only the one set.

Again, thanks.

Default Up to 500!

Never really thought I'd make it this far, but I'm currently up to 500! REA gave me a good boost. Latest acquisition:

I picked up a needed T206 after a 2-1/2 year hiatus. Eric, please move me one higher than Mathews/Banks. I may stay put for another partial decade, unless I get all T206 itchy at some point.
