That one little quote speaks volumes.

It makes sense that vintage makes up a small percentage of the cards being graded today. There has been an avalanche of new stuff produced in the past five years. Lots of people who are new to the hobby will open packs/boxes and immediately ship the "better" cards off to PSA. Given the sheer volume of new products being produced these days, the number of new cards being graded is going to dwarf the number of vintage.

Again, that one little quote speaks volumes. I'll stick to vintage and stay away from the new stuff. After all, vintage cards are hard to buy and easy to sell.

Vintage cards have been graded for how many years? That many more years than any modern-ultra modern card. Of course there are going to be more modern cards graded - grading vintage cards has been going on for decades already!

I am actively buying and selling vintage sports cards graded and raw. Feedback as a buyer: https://www.net54baseball.com/showthread.php?t=297262

I am accepting select private consignments of quality vintage cards (raw or graded) and collecting "want" lists for higher end ($1K+) vintage cards.
