Here's an enos slaughter cardstock reproduction example. The color is obvious , bright white like a Babe Ruth fake auto baseball.

I wonder if dealers are basing judgement historically on the thin paper ones as being authentic and the cardstock ones automatically written off. When in my opinion the opposite is true. Again the backs should look like the 2 posted in my original post. Compare them to this one.

I haven't seen many like the two I believe are real. And looking through auction results they are much much rarer. Which is another point that makes me believe they are legitimate.
