The original statement was incorrect. I was curious enough to check it. I strongly suspect that they meant to say Amazon, not Bezos. It it was true, based on those numbers, his personal wealth would be over $1 trillion. As of October there were 10 publicly traded companies valued at over $1 trillion. Amazon was in that group, but not the most valuable. There are no individuals with that large a personal wealth, excluding a certain person recently in the news.

Holy BLEEP is this thread BLEEPING awesome. It reminds me of the Covid threads with one or two people posting insane things that make zero sense in the real world.

Lets be honest if you buy/sell baseball cards you need to reconsider calling anyone greedy or privileged.

There is a huge difference between them. Just like the McDonalds and Walmart employees are way more overpaid than either Mr Bezos or Mr Musk. The low wage morons who think they deserve more are the problem and what is driving all the inflation.
