I thought the "two strikes" had something to do with our "three strikes" law: if you are convicted of three separate crimes, you are put away for life. I think they're supposed to be felonies, but peculiar things are felonies--like possessing an ounce of hashish. Anyway, they don't have to be violent crimes. I personally think the law sucks. And I've never been in jail for anything. |
