On the real E145-2 Cracker Jack Chase card the uniform is white, and will blend into the bottom border where they meet (as they are the same color). This reprint pictured has the uniform and border two completely different colors. This is one of the easiest ways to tell a reprint from an original. Most all CJ reprints have the light or white uniform and border not matching in color, and not blending together. All real Cracker Jacks use the natural paper color for the light/white parts of the picture, so the uniforms always blend into the border where they meet. CJ fakes have always bothered me, as I see them all the time on eBay/Yahoo being sold as originals. In the past Ive estimated 10-20% on eBay are fakes. Frank |
