Blocking bidders

I'm not looking to defend anyone, just curious - did the $181 bid "win" the auction but didn't meet a reserve you placed? So he figured he would make you an offer? I've gotten offers to end auctions as well so I'm not shocked at the request.

Why did you ban him? If you banned every pain in the a** to deal with on ebay their stock price would drop.
