This guy must be smoking something good. Buy it now 550.00. I would not give him 5.50 for that garbage Mathewson. Robert |

...what a hoot. You have your choice: the Matty, whose sides were cut off to stoke someone's fire. Or, the Chance, which was just found in the Alabama tornado aftermath. |

That matty was peddled around on ebay several times with no takers. Finally, some idiot used BIN on the card for $50. Check out this guy's feedback...he's the idiot that bought the card for $50 a few weeks ago! |

He probably doesn't know that the heavy trim job killed the value and he's looking for a way to make some extra dough. I've done stupider stuff, but if you guys call me an idiot on the board, I just might get my feelings hurt......waahhhh! waahh! waahh! waaaahhhhhhhhhh!!!! |

Even my two-piece Scrapps Getzein; even my Dresden Firestorm, almost broken in the middle Mayo Hamilton, even my re-backed Old Judge Kelly--Mark has given me dough for all these things. Not much, but some! |

Might want to check your math.....double 50.. to 550 ? Sounds like fuzzy logic I will agree with MW on this one...$50 dollars for that card is not as bad as my $40 fake D304 Lajoie.....regards all.... |

leon, he listed the card with a minimum bid of $110 (roughly twice what he bought it for) and a BIN price of $550. |

another testament to this guy's idiocy is the fact that he's described the card's condition as VG... |

yes, the seller is free to list the card at whatever price he chooses. His prices reflect a degree of ignorance, or at least highly unrealistic expectations. I guess the real idiot would be the guy who BINs the card at $550... |

He also had a 1933 Sport Kings Babe Ruth and several other vintage cards. Even after I showed him several other cards I was selling with damage (and correspondingly lower prices), he still had his doubts. |
