What in the world????

I placed the first ebay bid Thursday & thought that I might of had a chance too. Obviously some floor bidders came to place some serious bids & bid they did. I watched the auction live on Ebay & was hoping to increase my max bid but found out in a hurry that the floor was going to take it. Does anyone know if you can increase your Ebay bid once the live auction begins? Like I said, I was going to attempt it but the floor bidding shot into the multiple thousand range very quickly. Thanks
