1920's Spalding kid's glove
Posted By: dynarl
I picked up an old Spalding 1" web glove that is a kids glove. The problem is someone has written his name on it with ink. Does anyone know how to remove the ink safely? Thanks! D. |

Should I leave the name on the glove or try taking a chance and removing it? broughman@comcast.net |

I have used vaseline with decent results. I gently massage it in and it really does diminish/lessen the visibility of the ink. Takes lots of patience though, and might not remove the ink completely. I don't think you can harm the glove with vaseline, and it may be worth a try for your glove. |
