Paul,the old judge cards have the years printed on them in the copyright line.Some poses are used over again but list the players with a different team so you know from proof that its an 1887 photo but was re-released in 1889 like Jay cited in the Dave Orr case.Orr played for Columbus in 1889 so they reissued him card changing the team name only,and the date on the card.Some cards had the new teams name "airbrushed"(technically it wasnt an airbrush but for sake of this point) over their old jersey |
