I am not an auto collector, but even I know that Bob Feller signs a ton of autos. A couple of years ago, he and Pete Rose had some kind of spat - Feller was pissed that Rose was signing autos in Cooperstown during the HOF weekend. Rose shot back something about Feller's autos being worthless since he has signed many millions. So this card is hurt by his "common" auto. But what if it was a different guy - say Jimmy Foxx? Or what about a lowly common that is auto'd - say by a guy that only played two or three years and was a complete unknown - so his auto would be hard to come by. I think a card like that would be interesting. |
