The first thing you need to do is determine if it is real. A guide won't do that. Then if it is real, I would suggest sending it in to a reputable grading company. SGC would be your best bet because they don't require a membership. Or, you can just send it in to them to be graded. They will determine the authenticity as well as slab it and assign a numerical grade if it is real. If it's fake or altered, you will only be out $20 or so. If it's real but altered, it still may have $100-$300 of value. Go to http://sgccard.com/ and look at the drop-down menu under "SUBMIT". |
