They have to be vigilant in creating tamper-proof slabs, and must be careful in their authenticating of cards.

I am sure some will slip through and get graded... but hopefully that percentage will be very low... low enough to discourage thieves who make fakes.

Quite honestly -- anything that puts a shadow on authenticity only makes hobby participants run as fast as they can to the authentication companies. Sorry to the 'anti-slab' hobbyists out there... but this will strengthen the need for slabbing.
